The hollow axis adopts the cast steel, and the lining can be replaced. The big rotary gear is forged from cast rolling gears.
Working Principle
Ball Mill Working & Running
Ball mill, a kind of horizontal drum-type rotating device, is a grate mill with external gear and double bins. Materials shall be evenly charged through quill shaft in feeding device into the first bin, which has step or waved lining with steel balls in different specifications. Steel balls are taken to a certain height by centrifugal force from drum rotation and then fall. Thus it will give a heavy blow to materials, playing a role of grinding. Materials after crushed in the first bin shall enter bin across single-layer diaphragm into the second, which is provided with flat lining with steel balls, to go through further grinding. Powder shall be discharged from discharging grating, ending the milling process.

Ball Mill Operation Tips
Here are tips of operation for Ball Mill because of that Ball Mill repair and maintenance are crucial for assuring manufacture efficiency.
Tip 1. The operators must be qualified with the required technical knowledge, received technical training and fully understand the operating principle, regulations of the ball mill.
Tip 2. The operators should follow the operate principle and lubricate the requirement parts marked in lubrication picture. Untreated waste oil may not be used and keep lubrication points clean.
Tip 3. Pay attention to check the temperature of bearing not to exceed 60 and make sure every bolt not loose, no abnormal sound, uniform mining feed, steady water feed, normal current and voltage of motor.
Tip 4. To keep surroundings clean where the ball mill run. Every party should be clean unless it's running.
